Julio Batista doesn't just perform. He disappears into the truth of a character and invites the audience to follow.
A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Julio trained in musical theatre with a focus on the full range of the craft: acting, voice, and the art of storytelling through performance. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Austin, Texas, he carries a richness of culture and experience that shapes everything he brings to the stage. Now based in New York City, he is actively building a body of work that reflects that depth.
